Terms of service

01The service

Leavely is a leave-management platform for teams, operated by Emre Turan, based in Portugal. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it in line with these terms and your subscription plan.

Leavely itself, including its software, design, and brand, remains our intellectual property.

02Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to represent any company you set up.

In plain terms: Keep your password safe, and don't set up a company you can't act for.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security or access data that isn't yours, and no reverse engineering or reselling of the platform without our permission.

04Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed through Polar, our Merchant of Record, on the cycle you choose. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can change or cancel your plan from your settings; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period.

In plain terms: You pay upfront through Polar. Cancel any time and keep paid features until the period ends.

05Your data

You retain ownership of the data you put into Leavely. We process it under our Privacy Policy and only to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to manage the leave data of the people in your company.

06Availability

We work to keep Leavely available and reliable, but we provide the service on an “as is” basis and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or change features over time.

07Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Leavely is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

08Termination

You may stop using Leavely and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

In plain terms: Leave whenever you like. We only cut access if the terms are broken.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Leavely after a change means you accept the updated terms.

In plain terms: If we change the terms, we'll flag it. Staying on means you accept the update.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and disputes are subject to its courts.
